# Workflow Prioritisation Engine ## Rank workflows by value per unit of AI spend A company has hundreds of candidate workflows. The vendor claims it maps them, compares them with a library and ranks them by one goal: expected business value for each unit of AI spend. AI spend then goes to the top of the list first. > [!tip] Why the ranking matters > The ranking turns a vague AI plan into an ordered list. It also gives the vendor a reason to be in the room before the sale. ## Diligence questions - What data does the ranking use? Customer data, or library data? - Is there proof that the top-ranked workflow gives the best result? - Does each new customer make the library better? ## Why it matters If the library improves with each customer, the ranking is a data flywheel. If not, it is a consulting method. See [[Data Flywheel]] and [[Consultancy-to-Platform Transition]]. ## Related - [[AI Deployment Layer MOC]] - [[Workflow-First Land and Expand]]
