# Open Questions and Numbers to Reconcile ## Each row names the decision that the difference moves A difference with no decision is not important. This document gives all values in words and not in numbers. The sources are the documents of the company, unless this document states a different source. ## 1. Revenue of the last fiscal year | Source | Value | Decision that moves | | --- | --- | --- | | Income statement | Version A | The revenue multiple, the runway, and the credibility of the metrics that the company reports | | Revenue schedule | Version B. It is higher. The difference is small. | | | Projections document ("actual") | Version C. It is about 50 percent higher. | | ## 2. Revenue outlook for the current year | Source | Value | Decision that moves | | --- | --- | --- | | Revenue schedule | The schedule gives one figure. A large part of the figure has no signed agreement behind it. | The reliability of the estimate and the quantity of the funding | | Financial model | Almost two times the figure in the schedule | | ## 3. The number of industries with exclusive data | Source | Value | Decision that moves | | --- | --- | --- | | Pitch deck | Five | The moat rating ([[Borrowed Data Is Not a Moat]]) | | Deal summary | Four. One more is in negotiation. | | | Roadmap | A domain database in some sectors. A fine-tuned model in one sector. | | ## 4. Time and cost of deployment | Source | Value | Decision that moves | | --- | --- | --- | | Pitch | Days | The platform-versus-solutions frame | | Q&A | Months, and a low-five-figure cost for each proof of concept that goes into production | | ## 5. What an "agent" is The deck counts agents and skills together. The deck does not disclose the production status of each agent. This moves the credibility of the catalog of agents that the deck claims. It also moves the arithmetic of the roadmap ([[Roadmap Budget Realism]]). ## 6. Built in-house or assembled This question is in [[Open-Source Dependencies and Licence Exposure]]. ## 7. Smaller differences The risk of each smaller difference is low. But the risks add together. - The team deck and the Q&A give different counts of the publications of the founder. - The ESG answers do not agree on if the company measures the reduction of emissions. - The share of revenue that recurs is different in different documents. > [!warning] Limits of the indications > The inspection used summaries of the contracts, not the originals. Many of the contracts are in a language that is not English. The company did not give financial projections, model cards, documents on protection, or contacts of customers. The company did not answer some Q&A items, or answered with one word. ## Related - [[Foreman MOC]] - [[Claims Versus Evidence]] - [[Quality of Revenue]]
