# Founder and Origin
**Nabiel H** (Doha, Qatar) is the founder. The insight behind IK comes directly from his operating career, not from a lab.
> [!abstract] Domain credibility
> Nabiel worked in **wastewater and reverse-osmosis** desalination in Qatar, **sold telemetry**, and **introduced continuous vibration monitoring** to Qatar in the late 1990s / early 2000s. He saw the signal-trust gap decades ago — "but there was no solution, and nobody offers this in the market." IK is the answer he kept waiting for someone else to build.
He builds the technology (the algorithms and the physics-based engine) using AI tooling; he is not a software engineer by training. The gap he needs filled is **product packaging and engineering capacity** to turn a validated algorithm into a deployable product — plus a **data/pilot partner**, since plant access is gated by security and legal constraints that effectively require a formal company.
> [!note] Company & scope
> A company (US or UK) is being established to own IK and any follow-on technology — one focused entity, not one-per-product. IK is treated as the **first layer** of a broader technology roadmap, but the deliberate near-term focus is: win the water market, earn operator trust, then expand vertically into **energy / electrical (incl. transmission & distribution)** and geographically across the **GCC → Saudi, UAE**.
Prior validation touchpoint: Nabiel presented IK to **BeSolar** under a Qatar research-and-development programme; positive feedback there was a trigger toward formalising the business.
