# Maturity Levels The program describes its readiness on a maturity ladder. The kernel is currently at **Level 3** — validated, deterministic, multi-domain evidence on testbed/replay data — and the pilot is the vehicle for reaching **Level 4** (validated in a live operational setting). > [!note] What moving up a level actually requires > Level 4 is not a bigger model. It is (a) running the proven [[Common Trust Core]] in a live [[Deployment Path|Advisory → Enforcement]] setting, and (b) moving the [[Unvalidated Components|ACE / MCC / Command Validation]] into the [[Frozen Evidence Baseline]]. Maturity here is measured in [[Evidence Hierarchy|evidence terms]], not feature count: each level is a higher, more defensible rung of proof. This disciplined framing is part of the program's credibility — it claims exactly the maturity its frozen evidence supports and no more. The commercial implication: a pilot sponsor isn't betting on unproven tech, they're funding a Level 3 → Level 4 transition on an artefact that already has reproducible cross-domain results. --- Related: [[Integrity Kernel MOC]] · [[Deployment Path]] · [[Frozen Evidence Baseline]] · [[Unvalidated Components]] · [[Evidence Hierarchy]]
