## The pivot
Renacore began as a **horizontal enterprise-AI platform**, shipped its first product Oct 2025, landed first paying customers Dec 2025, and reached **CHF 15,000 MRR** through a Swiss reseller. It then **pivoted to LNG predictive intelligence**, pulled by founder relationships into Qatar's energy sector — trading a broad, shallow market for a narrow, deep one. This is a textbook [[The Age of Vertical Models]] move: abandon horizontal breadth for a vertical where domain access and physics knowledge compound.
## Team
Second venture for a founding team that has worked together ~4 years — a CEO with a technology/architecture/cybersecurity background, a CFO with a banking & finance background, and a COO with an ISO/quality-management background in heavy industry.

## Why it matters
